The Pentax K10D is a digital SLR camera featuring an all black body and comes in two different versions, with a 18mm-55mm lens (K10DKIT1855MM) and without a lens (body only). Pentax has been in the camera industry for a long time and continues to turn out some of the better cameras on the market today. The K10D is a 10.2 megapixel digital SLR with plenty of features for its price range. In general, the Pentax K10D is an entry-level digital SLR but it has some impressive features.

The Pentax K10D should be considered for an amateur photographer looking to get into digital SLR cameras. There are a few improvements that could be made to the K10D but for its class, its one of the leaders.
